Reveil Libertaire wishes to respond to the insults directed at us by the ZSP, which clearly appear to have the sole purpose of discrediting us following our publication concerning the ASF.

Reveil Libertaire clearly affirms its support for anarchosyndicalism and for the different sections of the IWA-AIT. We publish the texts and positions of the different sections of the IWA-AIT , including those of the ASF, precisely because we believe that reflection and the formation of an opinion also require the confrontation of different positions and divergent points of view.
Our publication on the ASF was therefore not intended to present a definitive truth, but to encourage reflection, criticism and critical thinking. Publishing a text that presents a different point of view in no way means that we endorse all of its positions.
We also consider it necessary to recall the fundamental principles of the IWA-AIT and its statutes. The ZSP claims to be part of the IWA-AIT, but its own statement demonstrates an alliance and proximity with organisations identifying themselves with Leninism and Trotskyism.
Yet this orientation raises a fundamental contradiction with the statutory principles of the IWA-AIT, which establish a clear separation from political parties, as well as from structures seeking to use the trade union movement as a political instrument.
This is not about Reveil Libertaire questioning the IWA-AIT or its sections. On the contrary, we affirm our support for the sections of the IWA-AIT and for the anarchosyndicalist tradition. Precisely because we defend this tradition, we consider it necessary to point out the contradictions between the original principles of the IWA-AIT and certain current practices.
We cannot accept that simply publishing a critical or divergent text about the ASF is turned into an accusation against Reveil Libertaire. The ASF is one of the sections of the IWA-AIT ; we therefore also publish its content, just as we publish the content of all the other sections of the IWA-AIT.
Publishing is not endorsing. Informing is not supporting. And allowing different positions to be confronted does not mean abandoning our own principles.
Reveil Libertaire will therefore continue to defend anarchosyndicalism, the autonomous organisation of workers and critical reflection, while continuing to publish the different positions coming from the sections of the IWA-AIT.
We reject insults and attempts at discrediting us. We prefer debate, criticism and the confrontation of ideas.
